Google decided to bet on two launches of top-of-the-line smartphones that are giving the talk. The new darlings of the brand are: Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL.

Announced in October, at an event in the United States, Google introduced its new line of smartphones , in partnership with HTC, which will replace Google Nexus phones . The company promised a good performance in the fields: artificial intelligence, photography, storage, communications and virtual reality.

The two models are a combination of aluminum with glass parts, available in the colors ” Quite Black “, ” Very Silver ” and ” Really Blue “. At the front, it is possible to identify the front camera and the sound output for calls. At the back, it has a glass that occupies approximately 1/3 of the back of the device, where the camera and the fingerprint reader, the Pixel Imprint , are located just below the rear camera.

With the latest version of the pure Android system, the 7.1 Nougat, the two Pixel have Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor, in addition to 4GB of RAM. The battery varies according to the model of the device, being that of the Google Pixel of 2,770 mAh and that of the Pixel XL of 3,450 mAh. And, according to Google, the battery is capable of withstanding 12h of intense use.

Speaking of technology, Google bet on a version of the Android system optimized and specific to these two devices, the Pixel Launcher . And, with that, the Pixel and Pixel XL do not enter the “competition” with the other Android smartphones .

Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL have good screens

Google Pixel design

With a 5-inch Full HD AMOLED screen and Gorilla Glass protection, it is possible to view multiple photos with vivid colors, contrasts and without noise, improving your experience when viewing images on Pixel screens. But, if that resolution isn’t enough for you yet, the Pixel XL has a more powerful 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED screen, providing even clearer images.

Google launches are good options for those who love taking photos

For camera lovers, those present in both models have stood out in the market. Both versions have the same configurations, with a 12.3MP sensor and an aperture of f / 2.0. In addition, they produce 4K videos. The front camera, both from Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL, has an 8MP sensor with an aperture of f / 2.4 in addition to fixed focus, providing good quality photos.

One of the differentials of these smartphones from Google is the free and unlimited virtual environment, using cloud resources, for you to store your photos and videos without worrying about the phone’s memory. But, stay tuned to your internet connection, as only then will it be possible to store the files virtually.

Google bets on new applications for smartphones

The main difference from Pixel to other devices with Android system is the new virtual assistant from Google, present only in the two Pixel models that, through voice commands, facilitates the search for images and can be used even when triggering the alarm clock. In addition, this functionality is able to identify content on the smartphone screen itself, such as text messages, to further facilitate your search.

Google Duo is another application that has attracted many looks for the Pixel smartphone, as it allows you to make video calls with devices from iOS and Android systems.
