The release time of NVIDIA’s highly anticipated graphics card GeForce RTX 3060 has been officially announced. The card will go on sale on February 25.

The  release time of the GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card, announced at NVIDIA ‘s CES 2021 event  , was leaked last Tuesday. According to an official statement made by NVIDIA today, the card has  been confirmed to  be released on February 25 . The RTX 3060, an affordable member of the RTX 30 series  , comes with both  RTX  and  DLSS 2.0 support.

 

Appealing to the mid-high level, the GeForce RTX 3060 will offer 3584 CUDA cores as well as 12GB of GDDR6 memory. This unusual configuration will compete directly with AMD’s Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card, which is rumored to be released in March. The graphics card is   planned to be available for sale with a price tag of $ 329 . Pricing will vary based on specific designs and will be highly dependent on card availability.

GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card to be released on February 25

Ryan Smith of the AnandTech team said , “NVIDIA sent out a short note this morning announcing the release date of its new GeForce graphics card, the RTX 3060. Announced at the CES 2021 event and first revealed to be released in late February, the RTX 3060 will be available on February 25, 2021 at ongoing prices of $329.” made statements.

The RTX 3060 graphics card is powered by the second generation RTX architecture Ampere. The GA106-300 chipset , which has a graphics card produced in the 8 nm construction process and 3584 CUDA cores , plays a role together. Offering 13 shader TFLOPS, 25 RT TFLOPS and 101 Tensor TFLOPs, the card can go from 1320 MHz to 1780 MHz core clock speeds with overclocking . The graphics card, which is connected to the motherboard via the PCI-Express 4.0 interface and  runs at 15 Gbps on the 192-bit memory bus , offers 360 GB / sec memory bandwidth. GeForce RTX 3060 model with 12GB GDDR6 capacity memory needs 170W TGP.
